BNSF 6913 - BNSF 5006 - CP 9568 northbound mixed freight triple under blue skies rounding the curve as she nears Connell and her double at-grade crossing... but oddly enough, the train never sounded in the distance. Initially, just presumed the wind was blowing harder than we thought or some brain infarct as we had just arrived, hadnt even made it into town proper as of yet. Little did we know wed just heard the end of an era as the Connell crossings had gone silent. |
