BNSF 6975
Title:  BNSF 6975
Description:  BNSF 6975 on point... if youre playing this scene backwards... in reality, an unusual DPU pair at the rear of a northbound covered hopper consist gathering speed moving out of Vancouver as the rains decide to return after a brief threat of skipping a day of rain for December; the clearing behind the trees is Vancouver Lake.

BNSF 8019 - BNSF 6975
Title:  BNSF 8019 - BNSF 6975
Description:  BNSF 8019 - BNSF 6975 (yes... in that order... static images can tell a much different story than reality!) in double-reverse elephant fashion at the rear of a northbound (to the right) covered hopper group motivating out of Vancouver... very slowly. Slowly enough for us to finish snapping this picture, climb in the car, drive north several country blocks in time to catch this pair again as they were just starting to pick up speed along Lake Shore Drive - in this shot, they are just departing the north yard area at the transition from Fruit Valley Road to Lake Shore Drive with the overpass (to the right of the frame).

BNSF 6975 with BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60
Title:  BNSF 6975 with BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60
Description:  BNSF 6975 lead on empty double-stack well-car duo still held up with BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60 now visible in the north yard ladder having pulled their mixed freight through... the oilcan is actually still rumbling under foot in this snap because I got over here quicker than usual and the idle is more calm than normal... so the CREX shot above actually happens in another few seconds (chronological? Whats that? Oh - it has "logical" in the word. Nope, dont know nuthin bout that.)

BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 with BNSF 6975
Title:  BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 with BNSF 6975
Description:  BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 at the front of that line of northbound covered hoppers with BNSF 6975 holding in the new passing/by-pass lane at the north end of the north ladder yard on well-car return duty - and it appears everyone is in "Hurry Up and Wait" mode. As a side note: "Yes, it is as wet, cold, and miserable and it looks. With wind."

UP 5546 - UP 9042 BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 BNSF 6975 - BNSF XXX, with local yard pair BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60
Title:  UP 5546 - UP 9042 BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 BNSF 6975 - BNSF XXX, with local yard pair BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60
Description:  UP 5546 enters the mess a half hour later... catching you up to speed... starting at the left, stopped in the old-new passing lane is the northbound covered hopper train ( BNSF 8291 - BNSF 7678 ), while UP 5546 - UP 9042 sound bound mixed freight charges hard into the mix, angry exhaust is from an unknown/unimaged coal-drag lead pair behind the red on the main line, while the northbound mixed freight "crew change" (in the Vanc Misc folder: BNSF 8160 - NS 9909 - BNSF 5965) is stopped in the wiggle onto the main choking down everything else (Im presuming crew change had to happen north of the yard (curving out of the frame to the port side / east of the approaching UP) because there was no way to get through the stopped northbound double-stack and northbound covered hopper group piled up all on the new by-pass tracks) - the tailend of the triple-header northbound mixed freight visible to the right of the frame, then comes the empty line of well-car duo BNSF 6975 - BNSF XXX, with local yard pair BNSF 1560 - BNSF 60 stuffed out at the end (light visible from BNSF 60). And I think that does it.
