BNSF 4992 as three-of-four on mixed freight elephant-style northbound - and demonstrating how close I am to ALMOST being under the protection of the 39th Street overpass from the weather. Instead, Im in the perfect place to catch both the rain AND the large drips coming off the concrete above. Sometimes youre lucky... other times, youre me. But Im not complaining! All that sun from April to November was worth it, I dont want to sound ungrateful, Im just a little awed at how easily those huge drops of cold water manage to hit that tiny little opening between coat collar and the back of ones neck. |
