| Terminus of Burnt Bridge Creek (remnants as 'stumps' only now below in the water) with outlet into Vancouver Lake behind and to the left of camera. Local line running up and away from the BNSF Class I service area swirls through north and west Vancouver until exiting to the northeast to run through Battleground, Brush Prairie, and on up into the hills ending somewhere above the Lewis River in a graveyard of rail equipment (some maps show this as a CBRW owned set of tracks, although I was in doubt until the recent sighting of a Grain Train covered hopper on these same rails). Rising winter sun trying to burn off the fog. |
