BNSF 7981 in the front of a pair moving south with mixed freight... and if I can take a moment to whine again (but this is a new whine, dont tune out yet!) - Connell High School dropped in some fine new tennis courts (which means they have more courts in one location than our huge local high schools (4A) - but the new courts are blocking a majority of the train tracks. Not a problem, because I presume if we could play on the new courts, itd be a nice view out onto the tracks - except they have them locked. So when you play on the old courts, you not only have to hear the trains coming *without* the benefit of crossing soundings, but then you cant get a clear shot of them even if you manage to get into position at the edge of the courts. Which sort of puts a damper on tennis-and-trains in Conmell. Whine over - thank you for listening. |
