AMTK 117 at the front of three and hauling south for all hes worth headlong on the same track as a BNSF freight holding at the corner - those high-speed frog cross-overs must be something, because he doesnt seem to be slowing and the signals say hes clear to jump from the east main to the west main in less than a hundred yards... giving him a hundred yards or so before completing the meet-pass of the distant freight... the tail of his consist is just completing the pass of the northern holding freight. |

AMTK 117 - BNSF 1504 - Well, we wouldve got there in time to see AMTK 117 pull into the station... except BNSF 1504 that you see poking her nose up and parked on the incline up to the mains and southern main yard at Vancouver Center has her load stretched out behind her trailing down into the old lower yard and blocking the at-grade crossing back near NW Pack and the official entrance to United Grain - and my usual path to get to the station. Eh, I guess Im here now, so stop complaining. |
